Turbo XS Dual Stage Boost Controller Reviews?
Hey everyone,
I think this hybrid EBC/MBC is fitting my goals, but before I make the choice to purchase it I'd like to hear if anyone has had first hand experience. And the price is like 250.00 depending upon where you get it, so no need for some 500.00 Blitz EBC.
Taken from some website "The latest manual boost controller from TurboXS integrates their high performance boost controller and the dual controller into a single dual stage controller! Now you get two settings to toggle between, one of which offers the precision tuning capability of the HPBC
The TurboXS High Performance Dual Stage Boost Controller is installed in line with the pressure hose running from the positive pressure side of the turbo to the waste gate actuator system. A switch is wired back to the cabin to switch between boost levels."

I believe that $250 is MSRP. I got mine for $185
The only downside that I've found is that it spikes about 3-4 psi. A nice +, U can change your boost level during boost. That makes for alot of fun when UR messing with someone. 1st run on level one. 2nd run, Punch it during 3rd.

From my experience, the turbo xs dual stage is hand's down when of the best boost controllers on the market , especially for drag racing, simple to set up, works rock solid, no fuzzy logic to screw up.... it is on 3 of the 4 current 9 second honda street car's.....

I really like the Greddy Profec B-spec. It's little hard to get used too at first, but it's a very nice EBC.
I think I paid $315 on ebay! Brand new!
I believe the Blitz spec S goes for $280 on ebay (also brand new), and that one's really easy to use.

It doesn't cause boost spikes, you have to set the boost limit on a 5th gear highway pull...If you set it on the streets with a 3rd or, if you have the room, a 4th gear pull, you'll see that in 5th you run more boost...
You set the base setting and then the "high boost" is affected by the base...In other words, you set the base to 10psi, then the high boost will go no lower than 10psi and will go as high as the spring allows...I believe if you set the base setting at its max, 25psi or so, you can adjust the high boost to 40psi, with the newer HP DSBC...
I had it on my Subaru and boost comes on very aggressive with no solenoid to bounce open and slow response...
Very easy to instal, just run the compressor line in and out to the gate, then run the green wire to ground and the purple wire to one side of the switch, it doesn't matter what side and run a wire from an ignition 12volts to the other side of the switch...
That switch is a high quality, costly part as well...Made in the UK, I believe...
You can find them cheaper around Ebay or any web car classifieds...
I bought mine for like $140 new and eventually sold it for $175 installed on an SRT4...

Fredo,
You are running hondata correct? If so you can setup the turbo xs DSBC almost like an electronic boost controller. using the nitrous controls you can enable the second stage to activate at a preset MPH.

Thats how I have mine setup. IMO the Turbo XS dual stage is the best boost controller around.
