Default Turbo timers: APEX'i vs. BLITZ (pics)

Okay, so I'm deciding between two turbo timers. I like them both but I don't know which one to choose. I know it's probably no biggie, but I'm frustrated and I need your opinion!

APEX'i Auto Timer is one choice:

The A'pex auto timer features a compact interface design (4 x 3/4 x 5/8 inches) with a separate control unit that can be hidden away underneath the dash. The Auto Timer is also the first timer with an integrated air-fuel ratio monitor. The unit reads O2 sensor signal from the ECU and extrapolates and air-fuel ratio value. The Auto Timer can detect the engine load before shutdown and adjusts the idle time accordingly. Finally, the Auto Timer has a safety/security feature that immediately shuts down the engine when the parking brake is released.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BLITZ FATT DC is the other:

Features: * Compact screen design * Air Temperature Display * Voltage Display * Manual Timer * Auto Timer * Adjustable bar display * Can be virtually mounted anywhere * Stop watch and lap timer * Contrast Adjustment
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They're both small and nice, but which one is the better one of two ?
Does anyone know any benefits of one over the other? I think the BLITZ's green background will look better with my blue gauges and white dash backlites, on my Integra. What do you think?

TurboR481, you have the FATT DC or you have the one with built in boost gauge?

I have the Blitz FATT, I like it because it was small enough to install where I want to install it and it was pretty cheap. ($80)

The Apex'i auto timer is about the same price. Haven't used it yet. Still piecing together my kit.

It may be just me, but I like the Apex'i Timer

Anyone have experience with either of these and an alarm? Everyone says, "just get a relay to fix that problem" ...details? How DO you get around the alarm problem.

I've got the Blitz FATT but it's the older larger one, not the DC model...

Basically most alarms have an ignition wire input that they read to tell whether or not your car is on. You want to make sure that the wire that your alarm gets is NOT left on by the turbo timer.
Most turbo timers keep IGN1 and ACC on, therefore you will want to hook your alarm up to IGN2.

You can hook up any tt with an alarm. The relay is shown is this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=92570. It is a pretty bad drawing but I just did this last weekend with a greddy tt and it works perfectly. Let me know if you need any clarification.

they both work the same... it comes down to which you think looks better or is cheaper. I like the looks of the APEXi.

the A'PEXi turbotimer is much smaller than the blitz. I'd prefer that over the Blitz as I have enough meters and stuff as it is. The A'PEXi can be mounted practically anywhere without being a nuisance.

i would personally get the apexi turbo timer because it also gives a pretty accurate o2 reading, which is better than those autometer gauges.

The Apexi doesn't give a more accurate reading because it uses the OEM O2 sensor! Yes, I own the Apexi timer!

This person used an Innovative wideband with the Apexi to display wideband readings.
