Turbo oil leak on hot side
Once the turbo gets hot as in after running it pretty hard for a little bit, turbo starts to push oil out of the hot side seal. It only blows smoke out exhaust when you are at idle and take off from a stop, it will give a puff. The puff is worse if i downshift to slow down. It doesn't smoke at high RPM at all. Just wondering if anyone would have some advice. I would think if the seal was bad, it would smoke all the time. It isn't leaking from feed or return line. Thanks Dan.

Re: Turbo oil leak on hot side (ImportMotorSpec)
If it leaks AT ALL, the seals are either bad or they are going to go bad soon because your oil pressure in the CHRA is too high.
As is usual with this kind of question, we need specific details on your oil feed and return. Size, type of fittings, restrictors, type of turbo, routing of the drain line, how and where it enters the pan, type of oil used, etc.
