To trust Endyn or not?
Well, It looks like My option for pistons has led me to the roller waves by endyn.
But after all that **** with atomic, and various other people saying stuff, I don't think I can trust the guy with $500+.
So, do I trust him, get the pistons hopefully, or do i go to a crappier brand like Aria? (Je's are out of the question... they only make a 30-over for the b18b1 and i dont want to bore, as I'm going turbo)
Don't know what to do...
anyone have an inside look at him/his shop? or have an account that is trust worthy to deal with?
thanks

I got my RW's from Larry Jr @ Import Auto Salvage in NC BUT the entire process took about 9 weeks since he sent me 81.5mm 12.5:1 pistons instead of 84.5mm 9.0:1 pistons the first. The correct size pistons were sent directly from Endyn after Larry W sprinkled a little pixy dust on them...

I say for the pistons you can trust him. The machine shop that does his rebuilding http://www.automotivemachine.com has them in stock and they get them from larry. As a matter of fact Im going there in the morning.

There are several AUTHORIZED Endyn sellers and it took 9 weeks because I live in Japan and there was a mistake in the original shipment. My Golden Eagle resleeved block and Eagle Rods from Import Parts should arrive at the same time... hell yeah!!

JE makes stock bore pistons for the LS. Even if they did not, you could just use higher compression GSR pistons.

well, according to JE's website, they don't. At least I can't find them.
And i dont want Gsr's... I'm going turbo... their CR is a few points too high for what i need.

JE makes standard bore flat tops for your car. Also I have standard bore Rollerwaves in stock right now if you are interested in them. Give me a call.

I've purchased 4 sets of Endyn pistons, everytime they arrived ahead of time, and the order was correct. Don't believe the hype.

Re: To trust Endyn or not? (VaporTrail)
Yes, many horrible things have been said, however they have come through for me. I asked for some valves and they mailed them BEFORE they recieved payment. Also I was missing the 10mm valve adjustment nut and I wasn't even going to go to the dealer. I dropped them an email, a few weeks later, they were gracious enough to give me a spare one they had lieing (spelling) around. I also recieved my rods and pistons from them on time. Disclaimer: I'm not casting any doubt on those who have had negative experiances with them, just another perspective.

Got my pistons 3 business days after ordering them. Had nothing but good experiences with Endyn, even when Clutchmasters accidentally shipped me the wrong clutch disk.

Re: To trust Endyn or not? (stizzit)
I've heard good and bad things about Larry and Endyn. The thing that most people say is that if you can buy his products through a retailer or distributer, then do it...dealing with Larry/Endyn itself is known to be troublesome and time consuming, because he is involved in so many things at once I guess.
Kinda like that "supercharger". I'm still waiting on the mug. I'll probably have my masters degree before that thing comes out.
