What do you all think about this turbo kit? Hows the parts look (cheap/decent/good)? I've searched it already and i just wanted a little more info on it. Anyone using this kit? Any experiences? Anyone got an opinion? Lemme know, and dont forget to vote! Thanks for your time everyone.

honestly i wouldn't buy that. id much rather save up another thousand and piece together a turbo kit from here on H-T. the things you can find on here are sometiems cheap, and have great quality. or you can save up like another 2grand and get a peakboost kit

Re: Treadstone Performance Turbo Kit (Fo-Do Fanatic)
I am currently in the process of installing this kit and am in the final stages now.
The kit is all on and just needs to be mapped so should be able to give you some pics and dyno graphs this week.
The components of the kit are all of good quality and the service from Jason at Treadstone has been good.
The only bad points so far are the piece of 2 1/4 inch stainless steel supplied as a downpipe is just useless and the inlet on the K&N filter supplied was too big to fit onto the turbo.
Otherwise so far so good.
My build:
Turbonetics T3/T4 Turbo V trim stage 2 .48 51 Lbs/min
Turbonetics Evolution wastegate
Turbonetics Raptor BOV
Treadstone cast manifold
Treadstone TR8 intercooler
Treadstone 2.5" Polished aluminum pipe kit
Treadstone stainless downpipe kit
Treadstone complete oil kit
Fabricated 2.5" Downpipe
TRE Performance 255lph Uprated Fuel Pump
Fuel Pressure Regulator
AEM Tru Boost Contoller
Apexi Turbo Timer
Venom Injectors
Dastek Unichip (www.dastek.co.uk)

Give us so more info on what YOU want. The power, what you use it for, etc.

300WHP is my goal, for racing. I'm getting the AEM Tru Boost controller with 2 settings. I will be daily driving on 4 PSI (no matter what the power is), and when I race I will be at w/e amount of PSI it takes to make 300WHP (im guessing around 9-12). This will be my daily driver and very occasionaly going to the drag strip (once a month or less).

I pieced together a kit for under 1700... all used parts but all were in great condition... and I gaurantee that I will make more power than this at any given psi..... i say look around and piece one together...

Umm...from what I can tell by your name and placement of the starter, thats some sort of f-series sohc. Thats a far-cry from an acura integra kit for a b-series.
Just make sure its a t3/t04E, and that you upgrade to at least the 2.5" DP, and it should be perfect for what you want.

Yes your right it's the F22 kit not the B series kit.
But he pm'ed me to ask about what I thought about the kit I had purchased so I have posted my reply on here.
Secondly with most of the components of the F22 and B18 kit being identical how can you say "that's a far-cry from an acura integra kit for the b-series"
& Yes the downpipe is 2.5 inch but you would of known that had you read the thread properly.

I voted for you to go ahead and get it... the parts list seems pretty okay.
Its also cheap enough to where you need to replace the manifold or something down the road, it wont kill you to do so.

Re: (69NOSAJ)
Seen alot about the Treadstone Performance kit, high quality cast manifold, tial wastegate, hks or greddy bov, polished intercooler piping, couplings, hardware kit, oil lines,Brand new Turbonetics Turbo t3/t4,and a custom intercooler for your setup,Overall I think the kit is well worth spending for a person who just want's to have the complete turbo kit to there door, I'd say hop on it.

Re: Treadstone Performance Turbo Kit
pretty old thread but just wanted to point out that this kit is not bad at all...i purchased a d16 kit bnib from a guy and installed on my semi-built b18b(je piston, eagle rods)...currently running a bseries POS drag manifold and the turbo is an E-50 wit a .48ar exhaust...2.5in exhaust to a 1.75in muffler..i made 313hp/256tq...i say go for it...

Re: Treadstone Performance Turbo Kit
I will never ever do buisness with Treadstone again. **** poor customer service after sending me some crap stuff. I'd advise you to look somewhere else or piece together your own kit.

Re: Treadstone Performance Turbo Kit
I have had the kit installed for around 18mths now and I haven't had any problems with the components of the kit.
Well worth the money and I had great customer service and I'm thousands of miles away.
