Default was soldering my ecu for nokia datalogging cable and i messed up cn2 pin one help!!

since pin 1 on cn2 is ground can i just take the brown wire from my nokia cable and route it to another ground source in the ecu?or am i screwed

You screwed up top and bottom? you can run it to where the trace goes. Follow it and solder it there, might be a big pain in the ***.

yeah good thing you edited your previouse response illicon3000 ,that would have made you look real smart i asked a legit question,if you dont have a relevent answer that actually pertains to what im askin please dont even waste my thread space dude

any comments on what I said? LoL. I had to do this before actually but only on some ecu a kid screwed up. Pulled the traces out when he tried to pull a socket out. That was a nightmare....

im trying to follow the trace but pin 1 doesnt seem to have a visible trace i can see where pin 2 and 3 go but 1 4 and 5 arent even visible

thanks 93turbo16 i got it figured out,im glad it was pin1 that i messed up,if it would have been one of the others this whole deal would be much much harder
