ok well as some who have been here a while i started the LS-T / NON Vtec Boosted thread here which has helped many people on this board.

i now bring to you the SOHC Boosted Thread !!!!!

i am currently boosting a

D16Z6
LS Rods
Vitara Pistons
Greddy 15G Kit w/emange.
only on 5psi will i can get a few more items b 4 turning up the boost....

street tuned it at 15psi.........Zex 59300 cam on order......B]

i hope this lme and others like the NON Vtec one did!

and that pretty much it i've been running like this for about one yr. now my setup has been running strong for now have'nt been able to run the 1/4 because california speedway is not open yet but soon i hope to put down some good times for the single slam i have another eng. d16z6 building on the side for fun and i will probably need it soon

Z6/Si/Ex Tranny has aluminum shift forks which tend to get fucked up
Y8/Ex Has the same gearing as the latter but with steel shift forks, and these tend to be lower milage

im just running the ex/si z6 with a light flywheel and if i blow it i have a back up and if i blw tha one its time learn how to rebuild a tranny huh


i thought irwindale was only an 1/8 of a mile i really dont like the 1/8

13.7@96 @7psi (2.0 60')
12.9@104 @12psi (1.89 60')

went to the track at 15psi but broke before i got to run. june 10th will be the next trip to the track....running full tilt, 22 psi (motorola map ) race gas and looking for 11's in full weight 4dr (with teh baby seat in the back lol) havent had a chance to dyno it....probably will after an 11 sec pass.
