Rough idle and stalling after filling up with gas
Cliff notes: car is supercharged, and has rough idle after filling up at gas station.
I don't know if its a coincidence, but everytime I fill up my car at the gas station the car does not want to start, and when it does it has a really rough idle and stalls out. At first I thought that I got some water in there since it was raining, then it happened again the next time. Its not the gas station because it happens at different locations.
Any ideas?

Re: (urbansi)
thanks for the input.
the fuel pump is the Walboro 255lph, it only has about 500-600 miles and was brand new when installed. You can hear it whine when I turn the key to the ON position, I do wait a few seconds before trying to start the car after filling up. I never top off the car, and it still has the problem with starting after filling up. I am going to check all the lines for a blockage of some sort maybe?!? But it only does it after filling up, so I really don't think that is the problem...

Man U FTW
was there a big semi filling the tank at the gas station when you filled?? There is condensation (water) in the tanks and if you're lucky enough, sometimes you get that in your tank....i had a friend that had this happen....luckily he just could run it through and it all worked out for him.......

No, luckily there was no tanker filling the underground tanks at the gas station when I was there.

I am running an OBDI ecu, and I never thought that that could be the problem, I will look into that as the problem.... By the way are you on Tri-State as well?

Re: (PY TYPE R 483)
Do you have an OBD-II car with a P28? or just an OBD-I ecu? Either way try disconnecting your EVAP purge solenoid, just the electrical plug. Should work

Re: (rhettster)
I unpluged the EVAP purge and filled the car up. I tried to start it right afterwards and it started up no problem, so I am guessing that was the problem. I am going to try to plug it back in and see if it happens again.
