Radiator fan not coming on help!
Today i was driving and I got a CEL. Im running hondata s300v2 and checked what it was and said Over Heating. THe car was running hot and then noticed the my Spal 13" fan isnt coming on. I Jumped the wire to the switch and turned the ignition on and fan didnt come on. I jumped the relay and fan still didnt come on. What could be the problem ?

Re: Radiator fan not coming on help!
I havent had time to check the fan hopefully it is the fan. If the fan does turn on. What fuse is the fan? I am running a 13" spal with no relay maybe i burned some wires... I checked everything and looks fine

Was a blown fuse. Is it because im not running a relay with my spal fan? I put a new fuse and running fine but dont want to keep on replacing fuses. This is the first time this has happened

Re: Radiator fan not coming on help!
You need a relay...
but for the relay to work the fan needs to be hard wired to the battery (the proper way)
if you don't do it you'll end up blowing fuses left and right and potentially melting wires causing a fire hazard.
