What's a good place in San Jose/Santa Clara/Milpitas/Sunnyvale/Mountain View to get a smog check done at? I stopped by the gas station near my house hoping to get in about out quick and the guy flunked my Integra becase of "those wire splices going to that relay there, you can't have that." I'm not looking to cheat, I just want a shop that has a clue.

I actually smogged my car yesterday at a place in san jose called accurate automotive or something like that. It's off of blossom hill at some auto service mall type thing. You should be able to find it by doing a search for smog on yp.yahoo.com.

And yup.. I passed.

I honestly don't know. Hahaha.. I just moved here from NH... hence the need to smog the car.

The guy WILL check to see that you if have carb numbers for all your parts... but other than that he won't care.

does he require paperwork? or just a sticker.. All i have is the carb sticker from my greddy kit...
I wonder if a boost controller will cause me to fail smog inspection...

I go to my friends dad's shop it's near oakridge actually right next to wheel works in that auto mechanic mall. I had a breather and everything and still let me go. Well actually my friend did the test in place of his dad.
