Pics of my pride and joy..56k, prepare to wait
B18A block (85.5mm, GE Sleeves)
GSR head
GSR tranny
Precision SC61
Lovefab "sst" manifold
Tial 38mm wastegate
CPR Siemen Deka 75lb injectors
JE Pistons
Eagle rods
ITR valvesprings and retainers
Ferrera valves
Action 2md unsprung 6puck
Exedy flywheel
JG intake manifold and throttle body
Hondata 4b
..and some other stuff, yada yada
Haven't driven her in about 4months because of custom pistons wait.
I'd like to give a big thanks, however, to Mike at Motormatrix for all the parts and grievances in trying to get my pistons. As well as thanks to Arturbo for the SC61, Viren(b18bturbo) for the fuel stuff, Kyle at KS-Motorsports for the clutch (its awesome), and especially Cody (Tinker219) at Lovefab for the amazingly beautiful manifold.
I expect some big numbers from her considering the displacement; like 400whp at 12-14psi on 93octane. Don't care much for max hp. I plan on visiting John at Secret Services to attempt at this goal.
Unfortunately, I am having some problems gettin her to run right and decent enough to take it to the seemingly distant Tampa. I just need a really good basemap I believe. But if you would, take a look at this thread and if you have any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

The PWR IC I got from Earl measures to be 30x8x3. Yeah, I got the last SST manifold I believe. Definitely awesome BOV. Thanks bro, for hooking me up with it!

Props for a nice car and a very nice setup you have there!!!
My only real comment is "damn that is a big bore motor!!!"
And a question I have is how come the 4th runner on your manifold isn't discoloring like the other 3 which already turned into that nice gold color??
Thanks,
Adi

Just getting to that...well I just did a compression test.
128-185-185-0
Yep, no compression in cylinder 4. I put oil in both cylinders, #4 did nothing and #1 went up a little. I'm thinking rings in #1 but I highly, highly doubt it because I've been having so many problems with this gsr head.
1) The heli-coil for the spark plug in #1 keeps coming out on me and I don't think
I'm getting a good seal there when I put the testor in.
2) I broke some valves on this head before and had it rewelded. #4 chamber was
shredded and some valve pieces dinked up the other chambers. Had it all
welded in but they did a shoddy job; I had to go clean it up a bit with a dremel.
Yeah, it sucks. I'm gonna find some stuff to do a leakdown test. I seriously suspect it is all head problems. I'm probably just gonna end up ditching the head and buying another.
So, if anyone has a gsr head (good condition please) for sale, shoot me an IM or email. Ported and polish ones will be considered as well. Shoot me details and pics as well.
I have a b16 head but I'd rather not go through all the trouble of replacing my intake manifold and fuel setup.
Thanks guys.

Yeah, there really isn't a theft problem in my area. The good thing also is that everyone in my neighborhood knows me and the car. Young kids and older, older adults as well. Some of them are even more anxious than me in seein the car move. Its always being watched.

Nice setup. Good luck with your grimlin....
BTW, I really hope the eagle war doesn't take over this thread too.

I don't think so because you do what's available to you.
