you can do the hose your self it does take time to put all the fittings in, justi think its one of the most time consuming
i took out the headlight to see how i was going to route the lines, u dont really need to but ii learned that too late, well i hide my wiring so that was good , this is for a DA integra
drill a hole to hold the oil cooler
mount the cooler
make sure uyou use teflon tape to prevent any leaks, and do not put it right next to the tip of the treads because it can go in to your system at least 2 treads back and your cool
make sure you tighten them i used a 23mm socket
once you mount the oil cooler you might have a problem making the lines fit, i dint want it to rub the part of the structure of the car , just incase vibration or anything may break the line so what i did was...
fold her back and your cool
this is how the lines come out when oil cooler install the lines are appx. 1 foot long
then make some more 2 lines appx 3 1/2 foot long
put all the an to npt adpater on the thermostat
it should hold like that
next put the 90 degree fittings on the sandwich first remember teflon tape!
then un-screw your oil filter
and you should see this
then put the lines are ur done

Re: oil cooler installation getting ready for turbo (drift2004)
After you install the turbo it would be even better if you run the return line from the cooler into the oil inlet of the turbo, so you get cool oil into the turbo this will increase the turbo life abit more and you don't have to run to many oil lines from your block.
Good luck and good job on the oil cooler.

That would great if the engine and turbo had similar oul requirements, but something tells me that the turbo would be a *slight* restriction in the cooling circuit. You could add a cooler just in the oil feed line, but with the turbo flowing <.5 GPM, it won't do much.

Re: oil cooler installation getting ready for turbo (nfn15037)
I'll have some pics of mine by tomorrow.
I bought a oil cooler from egay and mounted behind a foglight hole in my EG. Fog light hole is cut out. Mine looks like a mini intercooler, sorta like how you see some drifting skylines in the D1 championships have a little oil cooler in a hole in their grill.
I used regular tranny lines from vatozone, bought fittings from local hydraulic supply shop. My oil cooler was $89, hose was like $50, oil filter relocater kit was like $59, Fittings were like $30
Its been on the car for several weeks now, no leaks no problems. Car takes longer to warm up but I just let it sit for a few before leaving in the morning. I had some overheating issues, thats why I installed it, it was my tstat but I thougtht this couldn't hurt on a turbo honda. Plus I live in Florida, its ALWAYS hot as *** here.

I ran a oil cooler in my old setup
and Im runing a oil cooler in my new setup
I was able to run 12 psi on a stock d16y7 all day with a good tune and sold the motor and it's now runing in someone else car, Boosted for 9 months at 12 psi and raced the **** out of it, keep my oil psi semi low, but steady, never had 1 problem with it, well when I 1st installed it, it leaked like a mother ******, but i was able to fix it
i went with a greddy adapter and a b&M unit and a few custom lines and clamps it wasn't even that bad.
Don't mind the ricer red wire loom, it just covered up my muti color vacume lines.
Notice on the firewall, i also relocated my oil filter and made oil changes a snap.
This whole setup was sold for a D15 to save gas
