Default need suggestions on how to run oil return

hey i been trying to figure out how to run my oil return line. i have a mini ram manifold and the turbo sits pretty low. any suggestion would help. i was just looking at the picture and thinking of flipping the turbo and using the bung the morosso oil pan came with. but it looks like since the turbo is too big even if i was to cut the web on the block it wont fit. the turbo is a garret 60-1 turbo 63 hot side 70 cold side.

here's a couple pictures of my set up

I ordered the drain adapter flange so that a Earl's female fitting screws right onto it elminating the screw in 45 you have on there. It raised it up enough to get an angle on there needed for the drain on the turbo side. Then just thread your 45* fitting into the oil pan and use the piece you have to connect the hose or run another AN fitting off the pan.

Drain fitting, plus you don't have to worry about leaks around the threads.

45* -10AN fitting, or you could use a 30* as well.

Go to extremepsi.com They have the fittings I posted above for a decent price and they ship quick. You should be able to use your current fittings just as you said, just check before hand to make sure. Mine sits that low as well, but I have a TD05 style turbo which is even more of a pain in the ***! I have mine setup so that I unbolt the manifold/turbo as an assembly and disconnect the drain from the pan. It will give even more room to run a stock pan with a bung welded to it where ever you need it. I hated my Moroso pan, and went back to stock.

Moroso pans and Felpro oil oan gaskets are just garbage. Use a factory pan and OEM gasket and all of your problems will go away. You WILL end up blowing that Felpro gasket out; its not a matter of "if", but "when".

I don't have any issues with my moroso pan with an oem oil pan gasket. One thing do like about the moroso oil pan is the location of the oil return

My moroso needed some touch up welding.

The drain for the turbo on the mororso is too low. Plug or weld it shut and take it to a welder. Have a an fitting welded to the pan. Have them weld it from the inside so they can get it higher up on the pan.

If your oil pan leaks at the gasket its usually installer error. You would be surprised how many tuners do it wrong.

Have you ever honestly used a Felpro gasket on a Honda before? I use Felpro on everything domestic, for my imports it has to be OEM. The Felpro pan gaskets will blow out over time due to heat. I have even tried to tighten them finger tight, they still blow on my turbo cars. Been quite a few years since I have used one, but from the picture, they look the same blue.

I have one in use right now (at least I think I am, same blue). Its about 2 years old. I reused it when I pulled my pan a few weeks ago. No leaks, no honda bond. Installed using a 1/4" torque wrench using a 2 step pattern.

I have no idea on the oil restrictor as my turbo has a built in one. Call garrett and ask them what they recommend.

this is the way to go. had to do the same thing on my setup. there is literally only about 1/2" of actual hose showing.
