Neat fuel tank drain plug fact
You can get an 1/4" NPT tap, tap the stock drain plug fitting, and insert a 1/4" NPT to -6AN adapter. Piece of cake.
Why is this useful?
Good for ensuring gravity feed for in line fuel pumps. You can have one feed from the stock "bowl" coming out of the top of the tank and another feed from the drain plug fitting. This will ensure that the pump is always primed since it is pretty easy to setup a gravity feed situation using a feed from the drain plug.
Just run a T or a Y into your fuel pump and you are ready to go.
