I wouldn't get anything cocky because when / if you lose it'll make that plate worthless. lmao

I like the 500 WHP though, it'll get you some decent races.
Might also get the cops to want to pull me over to see what I have under the hood making so much "Illegal" power

Cops can't pull you over for license plates but if they know what "WHP" means and they want to be ******** then they might. I'd go with the "XXX WHP" though, it'll intimidate a lot of people and entice the faster cars to race.

That's a good thought (XXX WHP) maybe I could run a plate that would confuse your eyes if you try to look at it.

Same; I've been following this for months and lost the thread, just found it last Friday again.

Not to thread jack but I'm aiming for a comfortable 400hp and am using your build as a bit of inspiration.

You're not alone. A lot of people are using his build as a great base as to what needs to be done to be effective. (And rightly so).

In fact, next year I'll be using the meth-water injection myself, when originally I wasn't going to do so.

+1 like a dummy I bought & sold my aem meth kit before using it, I thought i was going to run e85 on my setup but after reading about inconsistancy's on the fuel I dont wanna risk it, so im going water/meth on 93 pump. It will make filling the car up alot simpler as 93 is everywhere around here & should reach my goals on this without any issues.

You'll get a few responses about now about how E85 is perfectly fine. I like my 93 also. I'll be on C16 with the 55gal drum I had left from a while back, then I'll go to meth/water with 93 Octane.

Man you guys are lucky to get 93 right out of the pump, our gas is $4.50 +/- for 91 octane. I'm sort of lucky to have a VP gas station that sells 93 octane for $6.99 per gallon and 100 octane for $7.59 per gallon.

91 + W/M Injection is our only solution besides E85.

that sucks ***.. Even the Costco stations down there use to have at least 92 Octane when I lived there. Right now we're at about $3.90-4.11/gal for 93 octane, and about $6/gal for 110.

Adding insult to injury eh Mac? lol Better gas for cheaper!

I do remember when Costco had 92 octane, they only sell 87 / 91 now and it's been like that for at least 5+ years.

I can't help but laugh watching you guys go on about petrol/gas prices hehehe.

Do you guys have your own way of measuring the "octane rating" of your fuel ? The lowest we have over here is 95 and the highest (Shell Vpower) is 99. I just can't see for the life of me that we (and europe) measure our octane rating the same as you guys.

Need to save a little money for tuning first. As far as break in I was reading the card that came with them and it says not to use synthetic oil for break in.

Well we all know you dont procratinate. just curious if you have a re-tune date? Clearly the cams wouldnt take long too install. The tuning i imagine is what is going to be holding u up

Good shiz... does it say anything about using a certain lube on the lobes or keeping the idle up for 20 mins ?

I think it would be a good idea to use some sort of assembly lube. N sorry about asking about the tune...i missed the fact saying he was saving up for tuning
