Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly
Yes all new build! E85 Flex Fuel setup this time around. Also going stroker.
Talking to Beau @AEM he said the Infinity will do (Flex Fuel) alot faster quicker than series 2, but 2 will do it as well.
LOL...why is that? There LS rods with the aged bolts + HD wristpins for the pistons.
Why would I do that when i have them already. No need for the other.
I'm going to have to fabricate my own.
Thanks, the ceramic coating is suppose to direct the heat out of the combustion chamber, and less into the piston.

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly
Oh, I missed that part. Yeah the aged are rated at 300+hp while the others are only 200hp each. Well good luck on your re-re-re-rebuild!!!

Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly
What do you mean faster than the 2?
Response time from filling up?
When i went from 91 to e85 it took 3 fill ups to get full e85
It started from e60 on the first fill then e70 and then e85-90
It might be because i didnt run it bone dry on 91 tho.
As for the time to read the changes it was pretty instant.

BooYaaZaaa Im Baaaaaaack.
Small update on the new build. Im blessed to have my Good friend and engine builder Ken from KRE (KensRaceEngines) put together my engine for this latest build. Here are a few pictures from his Instagram Account.
had the block cleaned and checked, We went ahead and had the block line bored because i will be using ARP main studs in the bottom end. LS crank has been checked, balanced, and micropolished. The head is currently with Tom @ PortFlow getting all new everything!! This is going to be one nice stroked E85 drinking machine! Ken does fantastic work, very meticulous. Can't say enough.

Just FYI I know where you can get the exact same coil for 67 each. You basically paid AEM 20 bucks more for a sticker lol (just like every other product they sell haha).

Yep. They're just LS1 smart coils. I can pick them up at any GM performance counter for about $65 each. I picked those up myself last month since I'm switching to COP myself next year. Not worried about those K20 coils where I change spark plug plates and such.
Or DIYAutotune.com sells them.
But you have yours... Why are you worried about getting more?
