Default max rpm on ls/vtec

hello,
I want to get some opinions about rpms.

I have an ls/vtec with

ls block (stock crank without any fault)
eagle rods
wiseco low comp pistons
b18c1 head (stock)

crank and head all factory sizes.

do you think 8000 rpm redline and 8250 max rpm is completely OK with turbo or not ?

Thanks

I see..
was your rotating assembly specially balanced while being built ?

well, I did not have much knowledge about what balancing is..
I wish I could build my engine once again - but for the moment it's too hard..
How can I understand that it needs balancing ?
is there any clue I can get ? vibration level ? noise ?

Your not gonna hear if it needs balancing. Balancing is just putting those parts together and having them balanced together so you can rev higher and put more abuse on the motor

1. you mean - 8500 is fine - with the 3rd market parts I use on the factory balanced LS crank - right ?

2. I also don't use the power steering and A/C and still use the OEM pulley.
my OEM flywheel is also resurfaced 4 times

Do these bother anything ?

Do you recommend me to change anything on this setup ?

Stock GSR redline is 8K. Depending on your setup, you may not be making power up that high. Choose your redline once you're on the dyno and can actually see if it's beneficial to turn the motor more rpms or not.

I rev mine to 8200 anything over that on mine doesnt make any more power on the dyno so no need to rev any higher!

Alright - if you're using stock internals, your car is already balanced.

I just wanted to ask if it's still healthy to turn up to 8k rpms with changed internals without re-balancing the rotating assembly.

your aftermarket rods have arp bolts, which is what is allowing you to rev as high. balancing the crank is not necessary, but it is nice to do (i did get mine balanced, but they took so little off i won't bother the next time around.)
