Default MAF sensor question

Im gonna be install my turbo kit this weekend and I just realized something. On my AEM intake, i have a small hole to insert the MAF sensor(I think thats what it was called?), but on my Charge pipe, I dont have anywhere to insert the MAF sensor. What should I do?? Its a small plug and it is on the stock intake arm/my AEM intake. My car is a 2000 Si B16a2. Thanks.

You are talking about the IAT (intake air temp) sensor.

We usually drill a hole in the charge piping close to the throttle body and bolt the IAT in there. Then JB weld around it to hold it in under boost. You might have to lengthen the wires for the sensor too.

yes. if you just leave hit hangin in the bay it won't read the same temp as the compressed air and therefore throw the tune way off.
