When back at it this morning and double check the cams and valves to be where they are suppose to be at TDC and everything was good, i told my brother to rotate the cams with adjustable wrenches as i rotate it from the crank bolt and i manage to get it to goo 2 full rotations smoothly, turn the car on and everything looks and sounds good, ready to hit the dyno and see what it makes now... i don't know why yesterday it was so hard to turn... but thanks anyways for the help.. i will post my dyno results and a video when i go get retune.

My set up is ramhorn manifold, garret 60 trim turbo journal bearing, 3 inch exhaust and downpipe, turbosmart wastegate, 66mm skunk2 throttle body and skunk2 intake manifold, Nippon turbo pistons, scat rods, acl bearings.. on a stock head my car made 316whp at 15psi 93 octane... I was going to go lsvtec myself but sold the vtec head and decided to just build my LS head..

With the build head and crower 404s and 3 more lbs of boost i hope to break hit 360whp give or take and i will be happy.. i will keep you guys posted, old tuner move to Florida so now i have to find a new tuner and there is not many down here in TN.. but when i do go to the dyno i will post results and a video..

I don't think is worth going LS vtec unless you have a sleeve block and can really push the motor...

Those cams should make power to 8500 or so.

I want to keep it safe for now since i don't have a sleeve block yet.. or would you recommend me revving that high? all i have on the head are dual springs and retainers.. bottom end is build with all arp bolts and studs..

You can rev that high. the head is what's to worry about. the Block, well, that's been done plenty of time w/ LSVTEC without sleeving.

You're fine, sleeves or not. The problem arise with stock valve springs or rod bolts.

My tuner stopped at 8K with my LS. 404 all motor cams and Crower springs/retainers.

He stated my log mani was the restriction in my setup. He stated if I had a miniram or full ramhorn, we could have gone a bit higher. However, I'm making plenty of power as is, so I really don't see the need to push it any further for a street vehicle.

Very nice. Post up a dyno graph if you have one. Did you drive your Honda 6 hours or tow it?

it is very smooth, tuner did set revs to 8500rpms since cams made the power that far.. have to love this crower cams best bang for the buck to anyone with a turbo ls..

Very nice man! Yeah a set of cams really wake these non-vtec engines up. I had a set of Brian Crower cams basically cheaper knockoffs of the Crower 403s and they made a huge difference in power on my last LS build.

Enjoy the car man it looks like a lot of fun.

Very smooth and clean powerband, torque could be higher, but with that manifold, it's not uncommon for that characteristic to pop up.
Exhaust sounds like as though a reasonable adult owns it, (though it's Megan... Could have been much worse, so kudos.. ..

Sounds like a nice fun runner!! was curious if he verified partial throttle on the street as part of a final tune.

Yeah for 404s that low end torque looks great. All I've heard about them makes me really tempted to buy 96ek's head.

Well, taking into account the expressions of his machine shop THAT did the work, it's not a bad idea. Then he'll have the money to get his VTEC head....once he figured out what on God's green Earth he plans to do, eventually.
