-i did a custom routing with my piping...the da9 doesnt have a hole on the driver side like civics so i routed mine differently and it will help prevent lag

What do you think ill make on 10psi vs 15psi not too many people running holsets on here and yes i no how psi works and how its not the same per turbo.....just what i should expect...im thinking 300hp 10....350hp on 15psi

Curious to see how those cx racing rods workout for you. Post up your results after its tuned.

Jumped in about pg 2030 (2013 era) and definitely be motivating to see a lot of the set-ups and the guys like lightening post the kills. I've been trying to build my dream honda since like 03.......never quite happens, finally getting a decent something going!

Not quite my dream CD7 build but these LS-T non-vtec antics have to be so fun to deal when surprising ppl lol I swear I just wanted to peace together an ebay turbo kit and have some fun with a daily integra. Idk how tf I ended up here and I still feel like I'm not even halfway done in putting this together:

Benson 84mm sleeved A1
B16 Hydro Type R LSD LS 5th(this really was supposed to be a daily >.<)
BB Billet 6266
JE Slugs
Manley Turbo Tuff Rods
Dual Walbro E85 450s
TRE Performance 2000cc injectors(on the fence about these)
Treadstone 30x10.5x4.5 IC
Clutchmasters FX400 6-puck(Idk about this one either)
Go-Autoworks custom top mount clearing ac/ps
Full Crower Valve train w/402 STG1 NA cams(they were already stuffed in there)
ARP studs/Clevite bearings/ACL Rod bearings etc etc

It'd be cool to achieve 450 on 93 before shooting for the stars on E85. Would love to make it down the strip in 10.xx something. I'm trying to get this drivetrain in order as I have PTSD from snapped axles on track days(open diffs).

Here is the video guys..

my set up is on one of the post on the page before this one.. but basically build bottom end on stock sleeves and stock head, with blox IM and skunk2 throttle body, type r tranmission with LSD, competition stage 4 clutch and flywheel, Scat rods, arp rod bolts, arp head studs, arp main studs, acl race bearings, Nippon turbo pistons 81.5mm, felpro headgasket, rc 750cc injectors.. CX racing ramhorn, garrett T3/T04E 60trim turbo 63A/R, 3 inch downpipe and exhaust, tune on hondata s300.. made 317whp and 240TQ at 15psi.. not bad i was hoping for 350whp but can't complain for a stock head, very happy with the results.

Real nice build man and no offense at all but shouldn't you be making a lot more power with this setup?
Its just that I've seen 100% stock on the t3/t4s with 350 and over iirc, especially with your 60 trim I would imagine you could push close to 400 with that.

Seems pretty normal for a stock LS head. A VTEC head, sure, 350whp is very doable, but for what it is, this looks about right.

Does this mean I'm going to have to build my b20 this much + need a ramhorn and a pretty big turbo (seeing how 60 trim is 54lbs/min) just to get around 300 whp?
I wanted to try with a super 60 or 16g for now, sticking with journals in general.

Yes. Pretty much. The difference in flow rates for P8R and LS cylinder heads vs. VTEC cylinder heads make a big difference in upper end power, in which typically more boost pressure has to be used to get a similar result. The good news is that these heads work well with torque since they're always matched to 89mm stroke engines like the LS/B20.

You're going to be in a similar boat running a 16G6 (Evo 8) Big 16G (Evolution III) or super 60. Effective boost pressure ranges and wheel speeds will be pretty high for the non-vtec heads of your choices. Its not just the lbs/min of the turbocharger (that's listed as a turbo's maximum airflow rate), but where on the adiabatic efficiency island of its map where boost pressure falls that's important.

This is why LS/VTEC & B20/VTEC turbo combinations are as popular as they are.

I was hoping to make at least 350whp or close and was somewhat short to that, but can't complain for a stock LS head that does not flow as good as a VTEC head, my tuner advice me to go ls vtec since my block is already build, he said we can easily pull 370whp with a vtec head on my current set up.. so that is something i might consider later..

I have a type R transmission with LSD and 3rd gear is super short so maybe compare to a LS 3rd gear it seems like that.. but it does not is just short gears.

I seem to have to post this every couple of years.

Here's your "gearing comparison".. 5th & 6th column (from the left) is what you want to pay attention to

No.posting so you can read the differences in the gear ratios of the standard transmissions, compared to their final drives.

You can't make a "short gear" setup argument if you don't compare the gears themselves

I don't think this question is worthy of it's own thread, but I still need to ask it, and since it's an LS head...

Crower 403's. Their site recommends spring PN84162 with them, but they have 84162, with dual springs and titanium retainers, 84162HC also with dual springs and titanium retainers (but $100 cheaper), and 84162S, with dual springs and chromoly retainers. Their website unfortunately doesn't have any information about the difference between the HC PN, and the non-HC PN, aside from the HC one being labeled "Honda Challenge".

That being said, for a daily driven, turbo LS with 403's, is there any reason I shouldn't go chromoly?

I've always gotten mixed info when searching ti retainer use in a daily. I've seen people post pics of ti retainer that have worn paper thin and cracked and other say they run them for 25k miles and are fine. I run the crower dual valve springs with ti retainers, but my car is not a daily. I also got them used with a complete ls head for $75 lol so far my retainers show no strange wearing. If I was buying a brand new set for a daily I'd get the more durable retainer.

Now quit ******* around and finish you build already!! lol
