Icon2 K series coil pack boost limitations on b series

I am looking to install k series coil packs and an AEM EPM on a 450whp boosted b series running AEM EMS Series 1. Will the stock RSX coil packs deliver reliable spark at this power range or do I need to run the AEM Twin Fire ignition module as well? What power range can stock RSX coil packs support?

I will be running this setup soon and I think each coil can handle 200hp. Not exactly sure but I know with the k series 3 wire smart coil they don't need a twin fire like the aem 2 wire dumb coil

I've seen as much as 800+whp(dynojet) and 38psi on stock coils with no other amps or coil drivers. Iridiums at the right heat range and gapped well usually does the job for me. Same results on AEM and Hondata.

Sounds good to me, time to get rid of the junk b series distributor setup. I seriously have a bucket of broken distributors/parts I've collected throughout the years. Thanks for the info guys.

450hp is nothing for k coils.

Where can I buy the harness plug for each coil pack? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the coil pack -> epm -> ems?

You can go into the AEM forums and get the wiring diagram and tooth counts for setup rising and falling edge data.
