injector size for turbo gsr & fuel pump
i was wondering... what's the best injector size turbo GSR with stock internals?? it's equiped with a drag 3 turbo system. the kit comes with a inline fuel pump. should i use that plus a intank or just completely eliminate the inline for the intank pump??
Thanks in advance
PS. I tried doing a search and i didn't find any answeres to my questions.

how much boost do you want to run? Do you have the budget for a standalone computer? Do you have the budget to fix if something blows??

J&S ultra v2 is a good thing but you have too look at it this way. How much are you willing to spend on patchs when you are planning on getting rid of them for a standalone. Because most of these patch will not be needed once you go to a standalone.
Can you live with 7psi until you get the standalone? and not spend money on this other stuff.

I think you could easily get away with 7 psi with 310s and about a 8:1 rise ratio. Run it here for a while until you save up for some engine management and a build. Then run massive boost!

Re: injector size for turbo gsr & fuel pump (Strng1dah)
everyone is all about the 8:1
i think i have a 12:1
i get surges at the top end
will a 8-1 fix this
i am running a drag3 kit w/ str fuel rail,12-1 fpr by vortec(came w/ the kit),missing link and 255lph holley intank pump...
stock injectors....stock...stock...stock
all i want is a smooth 7-8 psi
i havent got it yet, will a paxton fuel regulator help me out too?? a real fuel regulator would be better then a fuel pressure riser

Re: injector size for turbo gsr & fuel pump (4dGSR at work)
what do you mean surges on the top end?? You need 310cc injectors if you want to use the 8:1 . I think that my car runs really good with this set up.
When i first put the injectors in i never turned down the base pressure and the first time i steped on the gas came a huge ball of fire!!
My top fuel pressure is about 80psi @ 7psi of boost

Re: injector size for turbo gsr & fuel pump (redline)
What would you recommend the maximum fuel pressure to be for boosting
6,7,8,and 9 pounds of boost?
I have 310ccs, STR fuel rail, 12:1 vortec, B&M command flo and the drag kit's inline fuel pump.
I don't have money to fix **** if it blows and I might have money to get a 8:1 or 10:1 ortifice for my FMU. I just wanted to know if it is worth it or am I taking big risk? I am doing 6 pounds of boost right now.
Will a 8:1 and 310ccs make my GSR reliable as a daily? S/AFC is the only thing that I can tune my car with.

Re: injector size for turbo gsr & fuel pump (AzianAvenger)
12:1 is too much for 310cc my car runs too rich with a 8:1. My egts barely hit 800c when they were 850c with the stocks and less boost.
I think that 8psi is a good daily number for my setup.
