Hondata S200 vs S300 and other question...
OK, so I'm looking into possibly switching to Hondata from Crome...
I currently have a p28 chipped with Crome, If I get Hondata, will I only have to put the Hondata chip in the ECU?
What's the difference between S200 and S300?

If you get S300 you will have to solder the chip and notch the case for the usb wire. Not sure about the 200, i think that uses a programmer off the data port. Their website is really helpful and has all the info and differences. I run the s300 and love it, especially if your setup is going to change or you want to be able to tweak it on the fly.

The S300 uses male to male pins that won't fit in a standard socket. You'll have to desolder your socket and replace it with these pins in order to use the S300. If you're set on Hondata the S300 is the way to go. It has many more features than the S200, which is considered obsolete.
You can also look into the NepTune RTP which will plug right in to your chipped ECU without any more modifications.

S200 is a separate 'box' which plugs into the existing socket on your P28 via a 28-pin ribbon cable and depending on it's 'built-in' features, can provide boost control and real-time datalogging via USB
S300 is a daughterboard which goes inside the P28 case, requires removal of the existing socket and installation of 2 rows of 14 male pins and provides real-time programming and datalogging via it's USB port.
I can offer you:
* New S300 system installed in a P28 equivalant VTEC ECU for $650 shipped.
* Redo your P28 for an S300 (installed) for $550 shipped
* Take your P28 as a credit and send a P28 equivalent VTEC ECU with S300 for $575
PM me if interested...
