Default Help Id'ing my turbo? Pics inside!

It's says 34 31 E

If it helps any, on the compressor side, the outlet is 2"

Through trading stuff I got this turbo (along with all the other goodies to run it) for free and I'd like to know what I'm dealin with here so I can know abotu how much boost I can run, since 2 lbs on one turbo making xx hp isn't always the same on another turbo at 2 lbs.

I'd appreciate any help guys! I'm doin my best to learn all I can and I've got alot from this forum!

Terrance

Nothin?

The best I can figure out, is it's a Precision 3431e... Problem is the specs say the a/r is .63 but my turbo says it's .60.

Your .60 AR is on the compressor side - that is fine because it's a T04E housing.

The .63 AR is for the hotside - look at the inside of the exhaust housing, it should be stamped ".63"

Between the manifold and the turbo or by the exhaust turbine?

Which requires removal of the manifold, correct?

Plz excuse my ignorance, I've been getting a crash course is turbos as of late. It makes sense to me that the inlet is what is connected to the manifold.

Plus I wanna make sure before I break it apart.

According to your pics, the turbo isn't installed on the manifold..

Or did you install the turbo already?

You'll need to remove the turbo from the manifold, and look at the exhaust inlet. So in your terms, that would be the place between the turbo and the manifold. Look in there.. should be a .63 stamped in there.

Yep, it's installed on the manifold.

See, I got this turbo system for free and I'm just trying to figure out what it is so I know what I need to do. If it's indeed a 3431e precision, I think it's too big and I need to downsize a lil bit. I'll also need a kleenex because thats an awfully expensive turbo to get for free

Well, just to be sure, here's some exhaust pics.

If you guys are sure it's sc34, I'll go with it. I"m just happy it's not a cheap fake ebay turbo
