Default h22 with mahle 9:1, what should compression be?

Just tested my pistons, showing about 150 across the board. Is it ok? Just replaced head gasket.

That's extremely low. What motor are these pistons in?

^^Haha

Static compression depends on a lot of things. Cold vs Warm. Size of Cams. Cam timing. Bore size. Ect. I dont have a lot of experience with H22s, but those are some ideas to think about.

Right, and if I had read the title and not just the thread, I would have realized that

OP, 150 is still low. 180-200 would be more acceptable. Did you do this test WOT on a warm engine? Did you follow up with a wet test?

The obvious question: WHY did you have to replace the headgasket in the first place?
