I've searched everywhere but could not get a solid answer on this one. Our DOHC ZC is built and ready for high boost. We are hoping between 450-500 HP or up to 30-35psi on this set-up. I can't find another ZC'er to compare to but do you all think that the GT3071R is a good match for the built ZC? Too big, too small? Given that we will be using 15-20 psi on the street and up to 30+ psi on the 1/4 mile. Again, I don't know any HP figures based on the boost pressures because I can't find a reference to the ZC/GT combo anywhere else. I've read that the this turbo is a good street/strip turbo but they are all from the B-series folks and is real popular for EVO and SRT-4 upgrades. Most users of this turbo are hitting 18-20psi with an excellent powerband for the street and only been able to see a few on 25-28psi. I can only assume that the GT3071R will still be within its efficiency range between 30-35psi on the ZC. I would really like to see a dyno graph of this turbo hitting 30+psi just to see where the turbo begins to lose steam up top. Guess I can wait to find out once its all said and done but for now any opinions may help me decide if I should consider getting another variation of the GT30's or a totally different turbo. We basically want a turbo with a wide powerband and perform well on the street during low boost but not lose power on the top end (8000 max rpm) when its time to boost up on the drags.
