my friend is selling a GSR short block with Darton sleeves at 85.5mm bore with a block gaurd. im going to boost the block and love the idea of having Darton sleeves and a block gaurd but the bore seems too big and the sleeves appear to be too thin to me. the bad thing is that there are also minor scratches on the walls which require another bore to 86mm. is 86mm bore too big for boost?? how much can i safely boost on these sleeves??

Most people don't like to go over 84mm. I would not buy that block unless you're staying all motor.

one day the honda b series will go 86mm and not even have to worry. i hope so at least lol
