Gringo's new found power. PTE 6466 827whp/479tq @29.8 psi!
Not many of you know but i burnt a valve in the car back in July in a 1/2 mile race in Texas.
Pulled the motor apart and it was all good so i put it back together. So i am still on the same shortblock i have been on since last year.
All good so i kept running it!
Wiseco HD pistons in this motor. For those of you who say Wiseco pistons suck, here is your proof of them being 100% fine!
I got a hold of Saul from Mission Critical Performance and had him set me up with his best B-series head he had!
Ferrea Comp Plus .5+mm over valves
GSC Power-division Valve springs
GSC Power-division T1 turbo cams still <- Because they rock.
MCP 5-Axis CNC ported head
MCP Copper Beryllium Exhaust seats
Car getting back together:
Car on the dyno:
Only dyno sheet i have with this 6466 before i had the head ported etc.. Can't 100% say it's the head at the moment. But I'd say it's helping here. Blue graph is 3rd gear and red is 4th. 90+whp diff out the top. Boost dropped out top on one but wouldn't say there is 90whp there
Video of the dyno:
Dyno sheet:
I have noticed not many people in the Honda side of the world use the 6466. I can tell you, it spools faster than my T3 6262 i used to have, re-spool is faster and the car just straight up makes power. It didn't make amazing power though, until i put this head on. So ported head + 6466 = Win.
I was pretty much out of fuel on 2150cc injectors and Twin walbro 255 fuel pumps on E98. So i will paobably see if it can make 900 before the end of the year when i get some 044's in there.

15 deg iirc.
Also, i do not have any quick spool working on the car. I am confident the car could spool much faster than it does but from my experience it does not help on the street.

I would test them back to back if someone had a set they would send me.
Based on what people have told me, the GSC's make the same power but make more midrange. But thats just what i have been told.
GSC sold out of over 200 sets of the T1 cams in just over a year and a half.

It was quite a coincidence that I was watching the Texas 2K14 dyno day video and browsing Honda-tech, and somehow I ran into this thread and seeing your car on video at the same time...LOL
Great numbers, and that is one of the best powerbands for a FWD Honda. Great work... 300+ WTQ from 5500RPM to 9500RPM. The car is going to hook, and stay hooking the whole way

IT hooks! Thats no blipping the traction control or anything. Just straight hooking! lol

So you made 827WHP with only twin walbro 255 fuel pumps on E98??? That's crazy! Looks like my twin AEM 320's will support 800 on E85
