greddy turbo timer help

greddy turbo timer help
ok this is how i have it spliced in and it still wont keep my engine on .ithe timer just turns or with the rest of the car but if i put my key back in the on position the timer comes back on and then i will start its count down but the engine is already off and i keeps all my electronics on like dash lights and console lights and they will go off when the count down is over. please help this is quite frustrating.
-red on timer to solid white wire on ignition
-blue on timer to solid yellow wire on ignition
-green on timer to black & yellow wire on ignition
-black on timer to ground

You probably have it wired to the starter, and not the "ON" wire.
Make sure you've installed it to the "on" wire and not the starter wire, both will show 12v when the key is in the "on" position. Just look at your starter to find out what wire not to tap.

I just wired mine today, that's the only reason I know.
However, my car isn't here, so I can't go and look at it for you. Just double check your wires and check their connections.

SovXietday how do you have yours spliced in. what color wire on the timer and what color wire on in the car.

is there another wire the green on on the timer should go to? also i just remebered that on the timer u have the thicker red wire. on mine the thicker red wire is spliced into two samller wires. now i got my turbo timer used from some one on here and i think they just did that to lenghten the wire but do u think that this could be some of my problem?
