Default Greddy boost gauge orifice question...

Im running an edelbrock intake mani on my sohc with the vaccum fittings on the back that makes everything soo purty... My question is do I really need the orifice supplied with the greddy boost gauge and if so which way should I run it?

a) run the splitter off the FPR like the instructions say so
b) run the vaccum off the intake mani with the orifice inline and no splitter thing
c) just run vaccum off the intake manifold and no orifice
