Default To get hondata CPR, or not. Questions

Hi,

Anyone running a hondata CPR setup? Any major difference? Is it really worth the $400 ?

CPR = coil pack retrofit for those who don't know.

We have several cars running cpr systems.

What engine setup do you have?
What fuel are you running?
How much power will you be making?

No.. not necessary for that power goal and use. An enhanced stock ignition at the most should ever be needed. (ICM bypass by Turbo LS, Mallory digital ignition box, and external coil), or even start with an aftermarket Accel IC for basics.

I'd you're changing over for the sake I'd found so, that's one thing..But not a requirement. Check to make sure you're ok first after running, then see of you need changes

For 500 whp the oem honda distributor/coil/cap/rotor/plug wires will work just fine on pump gas.

Keep in mind you will need FRESH oem (not aftermarket) ignition components. Not components that are old with a ton of use.

I have had customers making 400-500 upgrade to CPR because their ignition components were old & needed replacing & they wanted COP technology.
It works great.
