Thermal. THats what I have. I have only heard it on a GReddy turbo Si which still has the stock Cat and small GReddy downpipe. It sounds awesome. Very deep and not ricey at all.

I wouldnt call the Thermal a cat back. Its actualy short to that you could add a flare to those with a 2.5" downpipe and cat. Thermal sends you a 3" flange so you can do that.

i have the N1 on my car and its pretty good and i like the sound of it. but i hear the greddy one flows pretty well since its a 60mm to a 70mm muffler

Well I have the Apexi N1, and the reason I chose it is because I saw that on other applications it had a good gain. I also liked the look and the sound of it.

If ur going to get a straight pipe, dont use an N1 exhaust on the street, cuz its loud as fack. Im gonna try it, and I'll give u guys the verdict...

same here SpoonCivic my moneys on my Apexi N1 has a very nice tilt angle in the rear and sounds sweet

has anyone triad the blitz nur spec 70 mm...they also carry an 80 mm!!! someone shop said that they would sell it to me for a little over 200 plus shipping on the nur spec muffler. so i might just grab that deal. but i know it's going to be loud and deep. oh well. my friend has the n1 on his eclipse gsx..that thing is super loud but i mean it sounds mean as all hell..i was driving his car and i've never had so many people give me thumbs up. i might think about getting a resonator though..does anyone have an objection to resonators? will it block too much flow?

I actually saw a dyno plot w/ the baffler on the N1 exhaust. No horsepower was lost, and torque was actually gained in the midrange.

Sounds like some people here are talking about "exhausts" as in exhaust systems and the rest are talking about mufflers... an 80 mm muffler isn't going to do you squat unless you find piping that matches it all the way back.

would It be o.k to use a Integra Type R muffler with a 2.5 inch piping. I know the type r muffler is restrictive but I need to look stealth or sleeper, because I am here in Ca and cops are ********. It is on a GSR that is.

Just move to san antonio texas man, you can run a test pipe alone on the streets and the cops don't give a damn... I have a friend with a Ford F100, and he's running two 3 inch pipes straight off his headers. Never been pulled over for it, and he's taken it right past some cops at pretty high throttle.
