Default Can you turbo a carbureted engine

Not that i intended on doing this but i was driving down the highway today and it popped into my head. So i was wondering if it can be done or does the engine have to be fuel injected. Thanks

I never had a problem synching dual carbs, had a couple different sets in various daily drivers from '95 to '99.

If the carbs are old POS with leaky throttle shafts and wear you start having problems. Trying to synch old crap that doesn't work is like trying to set ignition timing without fixing your high idle problem first, or surfing the net with a Macintosh LC III+.

There are tons of VW dune buggys running garret t3's with dual weber's with no problem. But that is a very simple motor to deal with and to tune.
