my tial bov stay open at idle. went to a local shop and they have said that all bov suppost to be close.. every one here have been telling me yes and no, so im not to sure my self.

i can see my ring that seals my tial at idle, id imagine once the engine sees boost it pushes down because of the boost line connected at the top.

at atmospheric pressure it will be full closed and opens under vacuum. How much it opens probably is determined by which spring you have. The 7psi spring will probably open more than the 11psi spring at idle.

The bov should be open but not fully open, BOV open to vacuum and when your engine is idling it is in about 22 inhg so it should be open

i got a 7lb spring. just got a message from tial and they said the bov should be slightly open on idle. ordering me a 12lb spring. i have a 23in vacumm at idle.
