Default B20 Vtec 8lbs of boost

Ok,
I just sold my b16, and i am planning on putting my turbo kit on either a b20/vtec , or a h22.
It would be alot easier for me to do a b20/vtec since i already had a b series in the car.
So i am more interested in doing the b20. Do you think that the stock cylinders walls on a b20 will be able to hold 8-10 lbs of boost?

I wouldn't boost a b20 or h22 stock. Your better off going with an LS/Vtec turbo, it will be much safer. If your stuck on going with a b20 or h22 then sleeve the block before you turbo.

Ls/vtec would be the cheapest way, but i kinda want to have atleast 2.0 displacement. I guess it all depends on how much money i am willing to spend.

I'm not saying it won't make power or be fast. It's just not very safe because of the sleeve design. Jeff (Abaz) made 302whp and ran 12.0 with his b20/vtec turbo, but he eventually cracked his sleeves.
