Default anybody using these ebay rods?

Does anybody have experience with these rods and would you use them for a 300+whp project?

they "look" fine, but then again so does SSAC....for another $75 get Eagles because you're not risking a failure.....pay more for the peace of mind....at least thats what i would do

They offer a 30 day warranty from the date you buy them. So if you get them installed quick and they fail your covered but if after 30 days it sounds like your SOL if they fail. They look like good rods but looks and performance ar two diffrent things. I would save another $50-$100 dollars and get a set of Eagle rods that have some bit of name behind there rods. But thats just my 2 cents

TT rods works well and are around that price range. Craig is one of the best guys you could ever work with. Hit him up.

Once again, so does SSauto on their turbos. Or at least they did - and we all know what their stance is on replacement.

All they have to do is say "No, it was user error", "expletive you, have a nice day", or "..." and you're SOL.

Just go solciting sexual favors to old men in a bad part of town for the extra $65. There's a lot of guys here that do that. How else do you think people pay for 600whp builds?

Go with Eagle's and call it a day.

30 day warranty my ***... if the rod were to fail I'm sure they would simply blame it on installer error or tuning related.

My thought exactly. Spend the extra bucks for proven performance.

almost all of those forged " econo rods" come from the same factory with just different clean up procedures, then a name gets stamped on them. Then there sent out from there taiwan factory to the US.

A lot of rods are like that. I've seen those cheap ones come with burrs inside of the rod bolts though. Seriously, just get the Eagle's. Another $80-100 bucks is worth saving a potential headache.
