Advice wanted: Turbocharged '99 SI has not been driven for 3 years.
It's been almost 3 years since I have driven my car and I'm trying to get it freshened up and back on the road.
Trying to get an idea of what all I should be looking for/doing to avoid any major catastrophe.
The engine is a B16 with the following modifications:
AEBS Sleeves
Crower Rods
Ross Pistons
I changed the oil before I put the car away, and changed it again recently.
I have drained the old gas out of the car.
When I checked the spark plugs I found oil in with them and have since replaced the valve cover gaskets including the o-rings for the spark plug chambers, and that appears to have fixed the problem.
I have also replaced the injector o-rings as they had dry rotted and had started to leak.
Any advice on what else to inspect would be appreciated as I have never tried to get a car that has sat this long back on the road.
If you need to know more info on the setup let me know.
TIA

Pull the ECU fuse and unplug your dizzy and crank the engine over for 5 to 10 seconds a few times to build up the oil pressure and get everything good and lube'd prior to starting.
I would check the fuel filter just to be safe......

no doubt.. new fuel filter and put some fuel injector cleaner in there just to make sure it gets all the gunk thats built up by now. Fill it up with some good gas and go blow it out really good.
Edit: I wanna say replace all the valve springs too.. Since some of them have been sitting compressed for a long time.

Thanks for all of the tips so far, keep them coming!
SilverEk3dr: I hadn't even considered the valve springs being bad, I was planning on building the head eventually anyways so I guess I will look into that now as opposed to later.
Does anyone know if I need to worry about any of the bearings?

Dissconnect the DIzzy and crank the engine untill the oil light goes off if its still connected. If not then at least 30 seconds
