Default 99 gsr turbo question

Hello all, I'm going through about a thousand ideas at the moment for my future build, and I wanted to know how well these dnj pistons that I got from rock auto did under any kind of forced induction. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? When I did the rebuild, I had it bored .025 I think, if that has anything to do with any possible answers. If I had to guess, I'd say like 250 whp with a good tune and all. Any ideas?

Also, what kind of turbo/manifold setup when I need to go with to fit with my full radiator?

Probably the same damn thing (or worse) than stock. If you didn't buy Nippons then you basically have a stock piston.

Well I've read that the stock piston can take almost 300 at the wheels. I'm just wanting to get some opinions on how much the dnj ones can handle.

The engine is already built is what I'm trying to say. It only has a couple hundred miles. If I should change pistons to turbo, then I might if I can get away with not having to machine the block again. I need some detailed answers.

if you're trying for 300whp, keep with what you have. If you want more, get a better piston. If you're asking about specific properties of the DNJs then, it may be best to ask them.

Thank you sir. That answers my question perfectly. I honestly don't think I want more than 250 in a light dc.

"Built" with cast pistons and stock rods?

That isn't "built"

I'm saying the motor is already put together. No reason for the typical hostility.

You seem to have a lot of confidence on the Internet. Probably not elsewhere, though. Anyway, I couldn't find anything specific to what I asked. The fact that I used the word "built" instead of "rebuilt" should not warrant any kind of bullshit response like that. Show me where anyone has asked about my situation, and I'll bow out. Otherwise, get off of your high horse and realize that maybe other people don't know as much as you do about this stuff.

Are you a woman, or just only raised by one?

It's not about other people asking YOUR specific question so you can spoon feed yourself with a google search, it's about studying the matter so you can find it out for yourself with cluttering up the forums with stupid questions.
You said built, the rather friendly and helpful mod here thought it comical as I'm sure others did and merely pointed out your mistake, man up and take it instead of acting like a whiny little bitch about it.

As far as confidence on the internet goes, I'd imagine notaracist is probably very confident as he seems in ways like myself from what he says, and he doesn't give a **** about babying people like you.
We could easily say back that you must be a whiny bitch in real life based on what you said on the internet.

MY BAD. I didn't know you guys took such offense to someone not researching every single possible thing before arriving to an answer. I didn't know that's how it worked anyway. I posted a question in the forced induction section about a very specific thing, so I didn't think anyone had covered it before as piston strength varies with the manufacturer. I just wanted to see if anyone has personal experience with them. You guys really don't waste any opportunity to flame someone do you? Come back with whatever response you like, as I'm sure it'll give ZERO help.
