Coolant seems to be blowing out of the air intake nozzle that's located behind the passenger side headlight. I filled up the coolant reservior, drove about 50 miles (which went fine), let the car cool, and now the reservior is almost empty.

Any idea what could be happening?

I don't see any white smoke coming out of the tail pipe and at least the upper radiator hose seems fine. Rather than spending more $ to get another alternator, I'd rather find one at a local junkyard and swap the voltage regulator into mine. The junkyards close to here don't have too many import cars, and most that are there have been picked clean.

Basically I'm wondering what ones I have to choose from. I know OBD2 cars have a different plug, so those are out of the question. What about '88-'91 Civics or Integras? I don't think they have any older Integras there, but I'd like to know anyways. The reason I ask is because my friend has what he believes to be a 4th gen Civic alternator, and it appears to have the same circle plug connector. I have the D16Y7 that is pretty much just lowered sitting on Si wheels and clean.

My heat didn't work one night and I wasn't overheating or anything. The car didn't seem to have any loss of power.

I have checked the following things:

Went under the dash to make sure the level is turning when I turn from cold to hot.
Checked the fluid level
Bleed the coolant
Changed thermostat


AC fan comes on when I press the AC button and I thought I would wait for the radiator fan to come on but it didn't. I decided to test the fan and it works but I only tested that because I noticed it wasn't coming on. The AC blows cold and isn't affected

My next thing is flushing the coolant system.

but oil pressure is good 80-90psi i think

is this normal, i do alot of oil changed but first one in this car. and ive never had something like this usually yhr filter is full of oil

none spilled from the male end on the filter or the oil filter when i removed it.
