S300 not reading sensors
Ok guys. My problem. Last summer I had my car tuned ran good. My tranny had a Crunch from the person I bought the car of. So I took the motor cleaned the bay and fixed the tranny. After the winter I put the motor back in. And I plugged my s300ecu in and now my car runs really rich like 10.0 flashin(my hondata says 0.74) I put factory computer in I got it to drive and no problems. So after Honda day I was gonna mess with my tune to see why my car running rich. well now my problem is I plug my hondata to my laptop to play with it and now my sensors are all reading zero my ect and my iat says 302f and my car won't start. Idk why let me no what you think thanks

Re: S300 not reading sensors
Yes same everything. I though I messed something up so I put the stock map and stock ecu back in (still with the aftermarket 440 injectors) and drove it and drives fine. When I switch map sensors and put the s300 in my at runs supper rich. I don't understand why. I thought the map was beat so I bought a new one and still the same problem. I was getting it ready for Honda day. Well it passed last weekend and I talked to a tuner he said we can look at it when he's has a free moment. I was doing reading online so I was trying to figure out my problem on my own but when I plug me s300 into my laptop all my sensors read zero and my throttle is at 12% and my iat is 302f and my ect is 302f idk why.

Hahaha duuuude I jist had this issue. Its a super rediculous fix.
You have onboard datalogging enabled. Disable onboard datalogging and then you can datalog through your laptop.
I just went through this when I was testing my s300 ecu to make sure it worked
Of course that only fixes your data logging issue

@m4x
I read about the onboard thing lastnight after I made this post. I went threw about an hour of reading diff things but came across that. But I was at the airport picking my dad up. So after class today I'm going home and I'm going to try what you said to see if it works. Thanks man I'll reply to see if it works
Now muckman idk if you know what's your doing when it comes to tuning I been reading about how to tune and all for the last few weeks and understand it but my only question is when I bring up the graphs up there is a tabe at the top shows what your goal is (Column 1-6 is 14.7 top to bottom and 7-on top to bottom is 13.5 or something) ok no there are the tabs to the left shows what I'm running now mine are like 20.3 up all over! Couldn't no just change that in that table to make it run optimal? Idkkk if that's understand able. I'll take pics and post them later. After school.

I wont be happy. the only thing I no that works is the tune is till there. I went threw and checked everything to se if it was all still changed. also I deleted the datalogs because it was all ful. someone online said it wont work. help pleaseeeee

Sp you downloaded the tune from s300, unchecked onboard datalog, upkoaded the tune to s300, then checked the datalog button in smanager and nothing? If you take off the ecu cover there are 3 leds. 2 green and 1 red. 2 green is what you want. The red flickers when its datalogging

Yea I'm going to look at the lights again when I get home. I thought all I seen was 1 green light. The only diff that I did over the weeked was when I loaded up smanager it updated. That's it.
Just so I no I'm doing everything right. How do you exactly do what you just said. Upload it and uncheck the onboard monitering and then what you do after that? Just to make sure I'm doing it right

Re: S300 not reading sensors
And i been reading a lot how to tune and all but there is something I'm iffy about. I was thinking about unloading a base tune and seeing it that FIxs the richness. But I don't wanna lose the tune that my tuner did. How do I save that tune to my computer so I can trip load it later?

Re: S300 not reading sensors
Ok so I just checked. My ecu only has one green light. And I listened for my fuel pump to prime and it don't. It dose with my stock ecu but not the p28. I checked to see if it was seeming signal out and it's only going to .14 volts(fuel pump wire[ground] to positive source) so it's not sending enough out. I'm getting really annoyed. Al my boys taking their tegs out and I'm stuck playing with mine -_-

Re: S300 not reading sensors
Sounds like either a bad ECU or a bad s300 board. You must try your s300 in a known-good ECU and see if your car runs fine. If so, your ECU is bad. If it still runs poorly, there is a good possibility that your s300 is damaged. There is also a chance that your calibration is corrupted... warning message bubbles come up when you download a tune from the s300 to your laptop. I suggest you contact your tuner and have him email you a copy of the tune. Once received, load it into your laptop and then save it to your calibration folder WITHOUT making any changes. Then, re-open it and make the changes that you feel necessary and then save it with a NEW NAME. This segregates the modified tune from the original... giving you the opportunity to always revert back to the tuner's code if you make a mistake.

Re: S300 not reading sensors
That was my thinking the ecu might be bad. But what could have caused it.! It all worked fine no problem. And now it don't prime. Anyone no where to find a blueprint of a p28?
