Hondata help! AC not disengaging
2008 Civic Si, 3.5" intake, J35 TB, PLM Header, Vibrant exhaust... if any of that matters.
I flashed an updated cal to my car and the ac stopped working. I took it to my local shop where they discovered the coolant temp readings were way off, causing the AC compressor to not function (the low end was reading -40* and stayed there, while the high end read 385* to start and gradually came down as the vehicle was running).
After doing a little research it turns out that this is an uncommon problem, but one way to fix it is to flash back to stock, disconnect the negative battery terminal to allow the ecu to reset, and reflash the cal. I did that, now the AC does not turn off, regardless of settings, the compressor constantly runs.
I tried the reflash several times, and tested the AC with a stock cal and race cal I use to pass emissions, and those allow the ac to work properly. My current cal will not allow it though for some reason. I never had this issue with this cal (I ended up reflashing this cal I have been using because I updated the firmware on the flashpro unit).
Anyone run into this? Any ideas?

Re: Hondata help! AC not disengaging
Sooooo I went to try and do it and there are cam angle settings that I cannot figure out for the life of me how to change (on a new cal, the increments are like 10*, 30*, and 50* and my tune has like 10*. 15* 30*, 50*, or something close to that). I do not feel comfortable doing something like that on my own.

Take a picture/screenshot of your current tables and then manually enter the values into your new calibration. Slow but effective.

I tried that, but vit has some settings on there that aren't the same (cam angle tables are not the same on a new calibration - 10*, 15*, 30* vs 10*, 20* 30* for example, and I do not know how to change it). I pretty much stopped there
