Re: Honda Datalog for Android
Peter,
is there a preferred TTL Bluetooth adapter, or are most offered say from NewEgg.com okay to use?
BTW, I got a kick out of seeing the diagram I created and featured in my DIY Compression Calculation thread ( https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/diy-compression-ratio-calculation-2476094/ ) in the ALLMOTOR forum from years ago (now a Sticky in FAQ's) featured in the Google Play ad for your Honda Compression calculator app.

Yep, i prefer THIS bluetooth, but lots of other bluetooth device works fine if its configured correctly. Most bluetooth comes with 9600 baud rate, but ecu need 38400.

And you can keep the picture for the Ad, I'm not upset about it , I just thought it was arbitrarly funny to see it on an Ad lol. I've googled compression ratio calculators and seen my thread listed among the top 3 before so I guess its informative and making hits

Re: Honda Datalog for Android
Just got this working within the last day or two, Love it! Cool app, now I just need to figure out how to graph my CSV datalogs in Excel.
Also, I ended up getting the bluetooth adapter from Moates since the same unit sold for Neptune RTP can be bought as a direct ECU CN2 connection at 38400 baud rate.
https://www.moates.net/neptunedemon-....html?cPath=69
also want to thank Mtber for the hookup on the USDM ECU! no more JDM P30 with a f*cked up CN2.....

Re: Honda Datalog for Android
concerning the "custom" o2 or aem uego.
when selecting a wideband, does the logger read voltage from d10 or d14?
d10 is the eld
d14 is the stock o2.
the stock to reads to 3.73 i believe, where as most widebands are on the 0 to 5v range.

Re: Honda Datalog for Android
In TunerView with Crome only use D14.
In TunerView with Neptune you can use D10, D12 and B6 for custom input.
I will add the custom input for Crome and eCtune too. Need to make some fix for old Crome protocol.

Re: Honda Datalog for Android
Oh. I'm not sure what that means haha. But okay. Have you tested it on an obd0 setup at all yet? I am very interested and if I could help in anyway to get it to work I would. I know the description says obd0 coming soon.

Re: Honda Datalog for Android
That stinks. I would really love to see this work on obd0. I know a lot of people don't use it, but BRE is a very good and capable program. Very similar to most obd1 options. This would be a very cool, different, and unique feature to ad. I personally love obd0 and the idea of being different. Like I said if I can help in any way please pm me. If you would be interested in trying to get it to work a deal would need an ecu or something ide be glad to help

I am no computer programmer. But I did find someone that started to do a similar thing with obd0. He provides all the coding he used. Maybe this would aid in your process? Just trying to help

Re: Honda Datalog for Android
There is a version in the works.
There's a list on the play store which includes Crome and eCtune.
do you have to have hondata or neptune etc to use this app? what a bout a datalog enabled chip and using the CN2 (J12 removed for full duplex) serial port connected to a Bluetooth radio?
