Default help with lm1 +lc1 wideband kit

yoink need a hand with this.

does anyone have to find they recalibrate their innovate wide band very often? (lm-1)

after leaving my car for a full 24 hours (i pull the ecu fuse and crank the engine jsut to make sure there is no exhaust gas left in the exhaust) and just turning the sensor and display on it in shows afr's 30.1 and above afr's for the free air (it just keeps climbing after). when i try to re-calibrate the sensor by holding down the calibrate button it does sweet f.a.

the only way i can calibrate it is to plug the lm1 into the pc and re install the firmware. then connect it back up and then it calibrates to what it should be for free air (20.1 +/-6)

someone told me my sensor was shot. will any Bosch (lsu4) work or do i need the specific innovate plug unit? (ie: either of these: http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/mwide.htm )

dont want to start mapping the car to find out if the unit/sensor is faulty (according to the sensor i am getting 9-10 afr on IDLE)
its strange but when driving the car shows it giving out a 14/7 odd afr on cruise but mega rich on the idle (until the o2 cel comes along and dumps 11-12 afr's on cruise from that point on)

anyone has had this problem before? new sensor time?

i believe you need a Bosch before cat. converter sensor from a 01-02 Turbo VW for a direct replacement.
