GSR eg6 rough idle after dyno tune
Okay so I have a 99gsr swap in my eg, I have owned the car for a number of months and had zero issues with it other than it running rich due the 450cc injectors without a tune. A few days ago I went to one of the local tuning garages and it tuned. It did great on the dyno and ran amazing on the way home (about an hour drive). When I started it the next morning the idle was very rough and bounced from around 1500 to 300 once it warms up it's fine. I've searched around but don't know where to start or if this could be a problem with the tune. I just don't see how it would be a tuning issue when it started and ran fine on the way home. Thanks

Do u have a wideband in the car. What is the af when it idles rough. you may have to adjust the cold idle/startup

I don't have a wide band or a af ratio gauge. I was just told by someone that it could be my cams making it idle like that on a cold start.

Re: GSR eg6 rough idle after dyno tune
My guess without seeing the vehicle:
The issue is likely with the engine coolant & intake air temperature compensation tables not being tuned at cold start & warm up conditions.
Call the tuner, take it to them & let the car fully cool down & have them tune the coolant temperature compensation tables etc.

^^ what he said. Your tuner didn't finish tuning the idle, warm up, etc tables. Most people don't want to pay for the additional tuning time to do this so it gets left as-is :/
