Default B20v high comp, N/A, or B18b1 ~430whp?

I really can't decide what to build.

B20 vtec high comp 12:1, N/A, with a gsr head/itr springs/cams, aftermarket intake manifold, 3" exhaust, nice exhaust manifold..

or....

Build a B18B1 long block, with a nasty built head, CSS block.. And shoot for about 430whp.

I am really up in the air. I loved my 362whp B18B1, it was so damn fun, and I can see a b20v high comp with 220whp or so be nasty as **** (ive considered nitrous if I have the funds, but I don't want to rely on nitrous to make my decision, even though with nitrous, I bet I can easily hit over 300whp with the right shot.)

The b20v will be much cheaper, and I will get to sell a lot of my turbo parts, less parts, less risk of **** going wrong, but definitely not as fast a 430whp B18B1, maybe off the line, but not top end.

I can build a nasty B18B1 long block for 2k, or I can built a b20v block for about 6-800$, and just use the GSR head I have (with itr internals)

Opinions?

Sorry theres not a thread section for bragging rants, still dont know how you ended up on engine machining & assembly. Make your mind up first.

Take it how you want, but its prolly why you dont have any "opinions"
Its your build figure out what you want to do first, start, and then when your stuck, research, and if you still cant figure it out ask for an opinion. Is it DD, Strip, AutoX?

a 220 whp b series is probably a 12 second car. a 430 whp boosted b series should have enough for a high ten second pass.
