Default Is there a way to recover data from a broken cell phone?

I [freak]ed up my cell phones LCD screen so my data is [freak]ed. Is there a way to recover my texts, photos, etc?
The phone numbers luckily were saved onto the SIM.
I plugged in the USB device to the phone so I can pull the files from the Samsung software but it wont sync with the phone. The screen is completely shot, I see some lights and some of the buttons light up.
So I'm assuming I'm pretty much [freak]ed at this point correct?

it sounds like you are going to have to pay someone.

There are plenty of recovery services for mp3 players and phones (google). I am sure it starts at a few hundred bux and goes up from there.

really? I'm willing to pay. I mean i took the phone apart like an idiot, thinking I could fix it, I guess I took it apart from frustration.

start googling then.

I use drivesavers.com for all of my data recovery. Not the cheapest, but probably one of the most honest.

I see that they do mp3 player recovery, so they might be able to handle a cel phone.

Call them. If you decide to use them, let me know and I will give you a coupon for 10% off.

depending on the phone you can go to the phone manufacturers website and they should have a special program as long as your phone works and only your screen is broken the program requires you to sync and itll extract data and save it to your computer
