testing my new Dunlop tyres..
Have anyone tried theese Dunlop Tyres Called "Dunlop Do1j" Theese are only , 195-50-15 but next step would be 225-50-15. The guy at the shop said that they would not fit my rims... (7x15" )
I did 14.64 last time on street tires (16" Kumho Ecsta supra)
Sure hope to get better times with theese.

Those are gonna suck for drag racing. Yeah, the compound on them is quite soft, but the sidewalls are stiff as a brick, and will lead to a bunch of wheelhop. If you car is built more for drag and you want sticky tires that you can drive on the street, go pick up a set of BFG DR's.

Re: testing my new Dunlop tyres.. (Chip)
I use DO1js on my car at the moment for 1/4's as the racing I do we have to run e marked tyres (thats the english spelling ).
I'd love to run on dot marked drag radials or even slicks but its not legal for the rules they run over here!
I'd looking at running Avon ACB10's which is a really soft crossply tyre rather than a radial in the hope that the side walls give a bit more
Unless anyone else has any good ideas for a e marked NOT just dot marked tyre for 1/4's??
My best time so far is a 13.94 @ 96mph with a 2.1 60ft tho tbh I was just going for any 13 to qualify for racing at a big event so my cars got a bit more to come if i really push it but the 60fts are hard with these tyres!

Really? Id like to know if those are available here. As far as I know the Dunlop Formula R D01 is not a new tire, but it is a Japanese tire which is not DOT approved making it unavailable in the US without the proper connections. Id love to have a set though if somebody had some for sale.
