I still think Fueltech is a better deal than a m84 is. Prices aren't too different even for a good deal on a m84.
You'd spend ~2k in a brand new FT500 with a bunch more features than a m84 has.

What is your goal in switching? Is it to learn a new software/hardware or is it for different features?

If its features, what is it that you need that you cant do in Hondata?

If its to learn a new software, what have customers requested you tune that you haven't?

Im not a business.

Theres obviously features and other control to be had with a stand alone. I've decided for now to rock s300 a little further. Fuel Tech looks nice but to have real boost control it seems like you have to get their standalone boost controller or get a higher model of the EMS. I like the software and features but the hardware layout seems a little strange.

That's true.
If you don't stack any of the FT Modules with the BoostController module, you'll only have BoostControl by RPM through a N75 solenoid.

If you're planning to have some serious boost control, you need stack FT BoostController with any EMS module (FT modules or any other vendor module that doesn't give you such level of boost control).
