why does this not work>?? Diagram 2...

other than I can see where you might be pushing fluid back through the propvalve and not just to the rear brakes...

dia 2 doesn't work because of the reservoir when using a reservoir it cannot be tied into the rest of the brake system it has to stand alone so basically staging brake strait to the rear brakes no other lines going into the rear except for what comes out of the staging brake.

Use Boost Always sketch.
Ahh...didnt realize in/outlet looped wrongly in the drawing.

Yes brakes will work like normal, that diagram works flawless for me.

That's exactly how mine is routed except my line from the staging brake to the tee isn't as long as I mounted my tee as close to the staging brake as I could. Another thing to take note of is while your foot is on the brake, you won't be able to pull the lever on the staging brake or vise versa.

Sorry for bringing back an old thread, but when installing a staging brake in line so that the rear brakes are still able to be used off of the pedal, do I go up in line size between the tees, or stick with the same size line as stock?

I used -3AN line because I didn't feel like bending lines. JEGS makes an adapter to go from hard line to AN fittings.

When you guys are running the rear brakes off the staging brake only what are you doing at the PV, just looping what would normally be the back brake feeds?

In for answer on this as I'll be swapping my inline staging brake for one with a master cylinder.

Any particular reason? Running skinnies and don't want to lock them up inadvertently?

No reason really. The majority of the racers that I've seen in-car videos of seem to use the one with the reservoir so thought I'd do the same. Is there a problem with the in-line staging brake locking up? I haven't experienced that happening yet but that would be a good reason to ditch it for the cnc 402!

I run 155R14's and haven't had an issue at 130 mph or on the street. I've seen videos of skinnies locking up under braking if the *** is too light.

And this is only with the in-line staging brake? I've got MT 22.5x4.5x15 tires in the rear and the *** end will only be getting lighter as over the winter I'm removing my gas tank for a 1gal cell up front and even thinking about picking up the kstuned rear trailing arm kit.

Yeah thats with the inline CNC. I have my corner balance sheet at work but its at 1943 lbs, 68/32 front to rear balance I believe.

Ditch the prop valve if you are running front brakes only off the pedal.

There are 2 lines running off the brake master cylinder. Do you run a line to each side or plug one and tee it?

From my understaning you can do it eaither way. i have a dual banjo setup coming off my master now but might switch to a single hardline and T off of that to clean things up a bit.

I have been told there is a possibility of locking the rear brakes up because of too much pressure through the brake, and to run an adjustable proportioning valve. Would this be necessary when using the staging brake in line? Or is this only an issue when using one with a reservoir and front and rear brakes are separate.

I previously posted asking about line size, and was told to stick with stock size. Would bumping line size up between the tees help with lockup prevention?

I used this website when I did my inline CNC brake.

How to : INSTALL CNC STAGING BRAKE

Pretty straightforward.
