Re: Sleeper accord build and questions
Kinda late on this, but is there any chance the dowel pins were holding up the head, due to the block being decked so much?
18 thou off the block does seem a bit much...

I thought that at one point but I think the sleeves were moving under boost cause it always blew the #1,3,4 in the same spots on the block side.

Dude PLEASE keep this post as a build diary, this is helping me you dont know how much and I would love to see how it goes on and what parts u end up using. My 96 F22B Accord coupe will thank you in a few years when I do my build. Did read the whole thread and its very interesting to see all the opinions and stuff.
Edit: Even tho I use this forum a LOT for research, your thread made me make an account so I get notifications whenever new posts are made lol.

There is a guy on the fb forums that makes a F22/F23 to K intake manifold adapter flange. I am not sure if I would go K... But I would get out cheap and see if can do a F22 to H flange for you and run a cheap skunk2 pro intake manifold. Will definetly help you on power

I was looking at the radiator in the first pic wondering wth you were incorporating into it (like an additional cooler?) and then I realized it was just cut and not welded yet lol.
Nice fab work. Wish I could weld like that!

Re: Sleeper accord build and questions
So little update on the car. Got everything g done and did the Dyno run. Only to find out it still blows the headgasket. It did however make 660hp on the first Dyno run at 20psi. Since that happened I have taken the block back out to get a step deck I to the block. I'm in the process of putting the engine back in and getting another tune to see if it holds this time!

Got the car tuned last night and do very well considering it still has the stock fuel lines/ regulator on the rail.

No more problems with the head gasket blowing out and all is well! Time to take this thing to the track
